This compilation represents the work of two local genealogists Natalie M. Baker and Herman J. McAtee (former cemetery board member) for which St. John parish is indebted for their efforts. Past and present cemetery board members have periodically updated this information. Web pages are updated twice yearly.

A copy of this information is available for public viewing at the Cluster office in the rectory that may contain more information than presented in these web pages. If you have a need to view this information please contact the rectory at the address on the preceding page to make an appointment.

Please do not contact the staff for information requests -- they will only schedule you an appointment to view the information yourself.

Letters have been assigned to the different sections of the cemetery. The Lot Numbers and Lot Owners were taken from the original cemetery plat map. The first letter of the Lot Number in each record is always the pertinent section number: i.e. F-CC20 refers to section F; row CC; lot 20. In the new sections: G, H and I, the Row Number is not given as the lots were identified numerically. Thus, H-302 refers to section H, Lot 302.

For the most part, information was recorded from the actual gravestones and supplemented with research. The Stone number represents the presence of a gravestone and the position from where the information was obtained. Legend: no stone = 0, left hand stone = 1, right hand stone = 2. Numbers above 2 are in no particular order but could represent multiple stones or multiple names on a single stone.
